The FAHPA (Aveyron open-air hotel federation) is an association of campsite professionals, which includes almost all the owners or land managers in the region.

The aim of this association is to promote and defend Aveyron open-air hotels. It also provides a good partnership relationship between the various service providers that our profession may meet, such as tourist committees, police and emergency services, various administrations and institutions, etc.

Our departmental federation is member of the regional federation of Midi-Pyrenees and the national federation of open-air hotels. We also work in close cooperation with the Aveyron tourist committee.

The Aveyron establishments are of very high quality and are among the best in France. This is evident in terms of the tourist facilities as well as in the economy of the department since open-air hotels alone represent 52% of the accommodation in Aveyron. It is also the biggest in the Midi-Pyrenees region.

As open-air hotel professionals, we think it important to explain this concept of an open-air hotel.

Because of this, the name of campsite is in process of changing into that of open-air hotel, which includes all these forms of accommodation: campsites for tents and caravans, chalets or mobile homes, and also areas for camper-vans.
