Présentation

The Côté-Sud Camp-site is situated in the heart of the Natural Regional Park of the Grands Causses (vast limestone plateaux), close to the Tarn Gorges and the Cévennes and only 500m from the town centre of Millau.

Accès

From the north take the A75 motorway (toll-free south of Clermont-Ferrand):- take exit 45 in the direction of Millau (just before the toll station for the viaduct)- at each roundabout follow the 'Campings' signs (all the campsites are in the same area) From the south there are two possibilities:1/ Without crossing the Millau viaduct:- take the A75 from Béziers (toll-free)- take exit 47 for La Cavalerie - Millau- follow signs to Millau- at Millau at each roundabout follow the 'Campings' signs (all the campsites are in the same area)2/ Crossing the Millau viaduct (toll)- take exit 45 in the direction of Millau (just after the viaduct toll station)- at each roundabout follow the 'Campings' signs (all the campsites are in the same area)

Alentours

The gorges of the Tarn, the Dourbie and the Jonte, the cheese cellars of Roquefort, natural caves (Aven Armand, Dargilan, Bramabiau...), the Grands Causses (vast limestone plateaux), Millau with its old town, its markets and its viaduct: a multitude of remarkable sites to explore within a 20-km (13-mile) radius!

Equipements et services

You can go swimming, fishing, canoeing, mountain-biking, climbing, canyoning, hang-gliding and caving and also try the 'vélo rail' (a kind of cycling on a disused railway line) and driving a speed-boat... There are many possibilities for walking and horse-riding and numerous cultural sites and local markets to visit.
