Alentours

Campsite Le Muret is in the heart of the Aveyron. The Aveyron is a fairly unknown department in the South of France. An area full of stories and legends... Full of hills and dales. Full of culture and nature'the landscape of Templars. You will not be overrun by screaming advertising signs, loads of tourists or amusements parks and arcades. The Aveyron is a peaceful area where you can enjoy life with a Pastis on a nice cozy terrace in one of the little villages or medieval towns. Enjoy the sight of the local people playing their game of Pétangue or knock about the tiny streets and brocantes.Named after the river Aveyron, hidden in a range of hills and mountains, cut by streams and steep slopes, woody and rough, it give visitors the feeling like time has stood still. Nowadays, the Aveyron is seen as the green hart of Southern France, where nature is still unspoiled, where the fish flounder and where it swarms with wild animals.
